She died Sept. 16, 1935, in Oil City, Pa. and is buried in Grove Hill Cemetery, in Oil City in the same plot as her husband, Richard---unless she's been moved to Meadville. Richard was born in 1854 and died October 18, 1890, in Siverleyville (now the Siverly neighborhood of Oil City) after an accident on October 17 that occurred as he was driving a load of lumber home from Oil City. His horses were spooked by an automobile and when he jumped out of the wagon to try to calm them, he fell & was run over by the wagon. When Rose died, she was survived by her three sons, 8 grandchildren, one brother, Ernest Bowers of Erie, Erie County, Pa, and one sister, Mrs. D. J. Hart, of Franklin, Venango County, Pa. Buried in the same plot with Richard and Rosa is their daughter Ada, who married Ernest Cox in 1903. Ada died the following year, 1904. Harley D. Foley (born Nov 3, 1880, died Jan 10, 1955), married Myrtle S. Hughes (born Aug. 24, 1886, died Apr 28, 1960), here in Venango Co. in 1911, the same year that Ernest married your grandmother, Anna Lind. Harley & Myrtle are buried in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Cranberry Township, Venango Co. Richard D. (born 1890, died 1954) married Nora Fahey (born 1893, died 1978), also in Venango Co., in 1912. Richard and Nora are buried in Calvary Cemetery, here in Oil City.
One of Rosa's sons was Ernest Foley. He married Anna Lind in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Ernest worked for the Pa. Railroad as a conductor. Anna worked at a five and dime store.
