Obituary: Tribune Republican March 17, 1926
Funeral of John M. Stewart
Services in memory of John M. Stewart were held Tuesday afternoon at Byliam's chapel. There were beautiful floral tributes. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. George S. Lackland, pastor of the First M.E. Church. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery at Harmonsbury, four friends assisting as bearers.
