Died at Crawford County Home after a long illness

Veteran of WWII prisoner of war, captured by the Germans and wounded, Several medals. Police officer in Union City, for several years, also a volunteer fireman for both Union City & Bloomfield fire companies, preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Virginia Anna Marie Frost
