Before entering the army he was employed at the Keystone Ordnance Works, Geneva, and Struthers-Wells at Titusville.
He was a member of Cochranton Volunteer Fire Department.
Son of Arthur Brenoel and Mary Louella Richard Brenoel. His wife was Winifred Heath.
