James Blakeslee was born at Nine Partners, NY, in 1763. He served as a private, New York Continental Line. In 1783, he married Ann Traver (1763-1847. Their daughter Elizabeth was born in 1800. She married Matthew Marvin (who died in 1823). Elizabeth died in 1881.
James Blakeslee was placed on the pension roll, 1833. He died in Crawford County, PA in 1852.
