BLAKESLEE, David 1741 New Haven, CT 1823 Spartansburg, Crawford Co., PA.
His actual burial place is located in a field along Rt. 77 just outside of Spartansburg.
D.A.R erected a monument at Rose Hill in his honor.
He was commissioned Capt in 1782 for his bravery at the battle of Stony Point, Revolutionary War
