Gertrude Gerow Sutter
Mrs. Gertrude Gerow Sutter, 87, a resident of Whitecliff Nursing Home, Greenville, for the past 2 1/2 years, formerly of RD2, Cambridge Springs and of Titusville, widow of Fred Sutter, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1986, at the nursing home.
Mrs. Sutter was born in Cambridge Township July 17, 1898, a daughter of Cecil and Elda Smock Gerow. She married Mr. Sutter on March 11, 1918, and he preceded her in death in 1981. Mrs. Sutter was a member of Titusville Methodist Church and was a former member of Cambridge Springs Grange.
Survivors include a brother, Earl L. Gerow, RD2, Cambridge Springs; one niece and one nephew. In addition to her husband, a son, Edward Sutter, preceded her in death in 1948.
Friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at H. William Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Mitchell Cemetery, Cambridge Township.
