GRIBUS, Lina I. HERSHELMAN

Lina I. Gribus, 74, of 24564 State Highway 18, Springboro, died Monday, April 28, 1997 at Rolling Fields in Conneautville after a long illness.

She was born in Pennside, September 2, 1922, a daughter of Maurice J. and Marie Rick Hershelman. She married Edward A. Gribus, November 15, 1941. He preceded her in death October 31, 1965.

She was a member of St. Peter's Church in Conneautville and a past member of St. Philip's Church in Crossingville for many years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, painting oil tinting on photographs, making seashell jewerly and playing the violin, piano and cello.

Survivors include six daughters: Joyce Faith of Mesa, Ariz., Mrs. James (Jeannie) Siegel of Erie, Mrs. Ben (Kathleen) Prenatt of Vermillion, Ohio, Mrs. William (Monica) Wadding of Conneaut, Ohio, Mrs. Robert (Anette) Gulick of Meadville, and Mrs. William (Shelly) Eschweiler of Springboro; a son, James Gribus of Ashtabula, Ohio, 21 grandchildren; and several great grand-children.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with a prayer service at 11:30, at Samuel J. Steff Funeral Home, 188 E. State Street, Albion.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday at noon at St. Lawrence Church in Albion, with the Rev. Philip Miller and the Rev. Fred Nachtigal of St. Joseph's Church in Ashtabula officiating.

Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville.

The family suggests memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
