Mrs. Alta Caroline Prenatt

Mrs. Alta Caroline Prenatt 80, of RD 1, Meadville, died at 6:30 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 1962, at her home following a six month illness.

She was born in East Mead Township, Sept 1, 1881, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blair Pees, and married Leon Prenatt. He died in 1954.

She was a member of St.Hippolyte's Roman Catholic Church, and Kiser Hill-Mead Grange.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs.Lelia Theuret, Mrs.Leonard (Catherine) Conrad, Mrs. Ernest (Thelma) Brunot, Mrs. Ernest (Anna) Stevens, and Miss Inez Prenatt, all of Meadville, and Mrs. Ronald (Ruth) Benson of Philadelphia; four sons Donald B. of RD 1, Cambridge Springs, Friel of RD 1,Meadville,and Walter and Robert J.,both of Meadville; 45 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell D.Kennedy Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited tonight at [?].Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St.Hippolyte's R.C. Church with the rev. Richard Tellers,pastor,officiating.Interment will be at the church cemetery.
