Cannon - Gilbert, Samuel, Israel & John - from Chautauqua Co., NY

I am seeking any info. contained in Crawford Co. records for this CANNON family line: sons of Stoddard & Polly Heminger Cannon from Chautauqua Co., NY. They moved to Crawford Co. before 1840. Some of these brothers stayed, but Gilbert moved his family back to NY and then on to Wisconsin. Samuel and his family also moved to Wisconsin.

1. Gilbert, born 1805 in NY, married Lorain Gray - Children: Olive, Rebecca, Polly Anna, Stoddard James, Wm. S., Israel Jason, Amelia, Eliza, Gilbert E., Avery, Aora, Emma L., James, and Eva Mae.

2. Samuel, born abt. 1806 in NY, married Semantha Unknow - Children: Fayette & Florence L.

3. Israel, born 1812 in NY, married Helen Danforth - Children: Israel Bert, Eva May (hus. Washington S. Winton) & Minnie.

4. John, born 1826 in NY, never married, died 1902 in PA.

I am looking for confirmation of births, marriages, deaths, burial locations, or any other thing you can offer.

Thanks,

Katie

Samuel Cannon

I have some info that might be useful. The source is a copy of the marriage certificate.

A relative of mine married a Samuel Cannon, son of Stoddard Cannon and Polly Hemminger Dec. 27, 1864 at the Methodist church in Dartford, WI. (This is now Green Lake) He was a farmer from Pardeeville, WI. (about 50 miles from Dartford). His birthplace: Chenango Co. NY.

Wife: Elizabeth Dent, father, Joseph Emerson, mother, Mary Burdick.
Almond, Allegany Co. NY

I can't find them anywhere after this marriage. I have searched various census records and death records. But not a trace so far.
