Alfred H. CURTISS b.1828, m. Ellen ?? .
Their children were: Leroy b.1852, Effie b. 1856, Encie b. 1858, Clifford b.1860, Elisa b. 1863, Ellen b. 1866, and Clayton b. 1869. They moved from Randolph Township, Crawford Co.(1850) to Allegheny Township, Venango Co. (1860) to 6th Dist. Howard Co. Maryland (1870). In the first two locations they were always on the same page in the census as two other Curtisses: Henry H. Curtis(s) b.1831, and wife Corrilla (or Verilla??) Ava E. b.1853, Alanna B. b.1855, Delma C. b.1857. I believe they were probably brothers. Henry H. Curtis(s) family went on to Pleasentville Township,Venango Co. Pennsylvania (1870 Census). Alfred and Henry are both born in Pennsylvania.
