Demasons of Frenchtown Pa.

I am Phillip Brown. My great grandfather, William Brown married Pauline Demason and together had Flossie, Elmer, May,Paul and Lester Brown.

The Demason ( DeMaison) family.

The Demason family is one of the founding families of Frenchtoen. Once arriving in the area they bought land from the Holland Land Co. and thus began to clear and build the first of many homes of the Demason family. They helped to build the church and also the iron work of the entrance to the cemetery as well as the large cross over it. They were involved in the growth of Frenchtown and with the church. There are many of the Demasons at rest there. I know they would be proud of the history of Frenchtown.

Paul Brown

My 2nd great grandmother Nancy Henri Minium's sister Margaret married a Paul Brown. Their parents were Nicholas and Marie Henri from France. They lived in Frenchtown. Is it this the same Paul Brown?
