KEPLER, Pharis D.

150th P.V.I., Co. I
Pharis entered the unit in the fall of 1863 and was wounded at North Anna in 1864.
His younger brother Peter was also in Co.I.

KEPLER, Peter Samuel

150th P.V.I., Co.I
Peter entered the unit before Gettysburg and served until the unit was mustered out.
He was wounded in the left arm at Laurel Hill (Spotsylvania) on May 8th or 9th, 1864.  read more »

150th P.V.I., Co. K. This company guarded Lincoln at the White House.
He enrolled 15 Aug 1862 in Meadville at age 26.

KEPLER, James J.

150th P.V.I., Co. K. This unit guarded Lincoln at the White House.
He enrolled 15 Aug 1862 in Meadville at age 31.

KEPLER, Isaac N.

150th P.V.I., Co. K. This company guarded Lincoln at the White House.
Enrolled 15 Aug 1862 in Meadville at age 27.

KEPLER, William

Served in the militia at Erie when Perry was building his ships.
Served alongside his brother Jacob.

KEPLER, Jacob

Served with the militia at Erie while Perry was building his ships.
Served alongside his brother William.

PEIFFER, Samuel

150th P.V.I., Co.I
Sergeant Peiffer was the regimental flagbearer on July 1, 1863 at Gettysburg.
He was killed that day while holding the Stars and Stripes.  read more »
